Prepress
Thames Printing's prepress department is constantly
being updated to remain relevant to our client's needs. We have
current software running on the latest available hardware; testing
new hardware and software as it becomes available and implementing
technology that best meets the needs of our clients when that
technology is developmentally stable enough to be used in a
production environment.
We currently have 12 production Macintosh computers and 4
production PCs with a full compliment of industry standard DTP
software.
Our workflow is Kodak Prinergy Connect with an Insite web
server. A 100% PDF based workflow that allows our clients to
preview files as they are completed for quick online proofing and
incredibly fast turnaround times.
Digital Printing
State-of-the-art seems almost inadequate in describing Thames
Printings digital department. With two Kodak Digimasters equipped
with inline staplers and booklet makers, a Xerox Docutech 100, a 5
color Kodak NexPress with glosser and three wide format 6 color
ink-jet printers we can produce any digital print job, variable or
static.
Pressroom
With six multicolor presses ranging from a 12X18 Ryobi 2
color press to a 28X40 8 color perfecting Heidelberg Speedmaster,
conventional printing is covered, soup to nuts. Aqueous coating,
Stochastic screening and Perfecting are just a few of the unique
capabilities we have to offer clients who are looking for that
perfect balance of high quality quick turn around and reasonable
price for there printing needs.
Bindery
Our Bindery consists of four folders, two
saddlestitchers, a Rollem and three cutters. We also have three
drills, spiral binding, a GBC punch and binder, along with two
shrink wrap tunnels. Thames also provides fulfillment and complete
mailing services.
Storage & Shipping
All work is manufactured in our 72,000 square foot, climate
controlled building. We provide customer storage areas and we have
a fleet of delivery vehicles that can deliver up to 26,000
pounds.

Thames Printing Company prides
itself on keeping up with state-of-the-art technology, providing
it's customers with optimum quality and quick turnaround times. We
offer a digital workflow throughout: from planning to shipment.
However when custom handwork is required to complete a project, we
have the experience and the resources to get the job done. Our
facilities is laid out in such a way as to be highly efficient,
from raw materials in to finished product loaded onto our trucks in
our inside loading docks. Customers can view there jobs being
printed on our Heidelberg presses from the comfort of enclosed
windowed viewing areas.
